Frank began his development career practically from the time he was born. He has been involved in all aspects of construction, including working in the field in his early years. In 1992 Mr. Marretti moved from his native Baltimore to Las Vegas and shortly thereafter entered the Commercial Brokerage arena. From the early 1990’s through 2001 Frank was affiliated with two National Brokerage firms, Marcus & Millichap and Colliers International. While at Marcus & Millichap, he was Broker of the Year twice as well as the youngest Broker in company history to qualify for the National Achievement Awards trip at the age of 25. During his tenure at Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Marretti was courted by Colliers International to head the Las Vegas Investment Services Group. From 1998 to 2001, Frank was with Colliers International working with both Institutional and Private Clients.
During the late 90’s Frank was acquiring more assets than he was brokering and with a thirst for success, Frank transitioned his business to focus on real estate development and general contracting. In 1997 Mr. Marretti purchased his first significant re-development project – a 70,000 square foot vacant retail building. Then in 2001 Frank started his own Development company which focused on commercial real estate development, land acquisition, redevelopment, joint ventures, and general contracting. Frank had nearly 20 professionals employed between his Development and General Contracting companies working for him as he oversaw the projects, including financing, acquisition, planning leasing, and construction.
Frank has developed a diverse portfolio of properties including retail, office, special purpose, multi-family, restaurants, custom homes and mixed-use. With a specialty for redeveloping infill neighborhood projects, his projects include both redevelopment and ground-up construction. Frank’s most current project is a Private – Public partnership of sorts between he and the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV). The project is a mixed-use development located at 4700 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89119 across from the UNLV. At completion, the project will include retail, office, luxury apartment homes, the UNLV Police Headquarters, and a seven-story parking structure leased to UNLV.
Now with over 25 years of experience in Las Vegas and the Southwest United States, Frank continues to specialize in commercial real estate brokerage, contracting, and developing. To date Frank has developed, re-developed, purchased, financed, and brokered projects in excess of $1B.
